Location: Mitchell Field Community Centre, 89 Church Avenue (Yonge and Finch)
“Environment Minister John Baird announces that starting in 2010 phosphates will be limited to 0.5%”
Everywhere you look, there is another story about ‘going green.’ So much to sift through and so little time. PCPC has gathered together two presenters who will help you get ‘green’ initiatives started in your own community, home and child centre.
Marnie will speak about ‘meaningful partnerships’ with the PCPC member centres via their complete line of Canadian made biodegradable cleaners. MASS is also the distributor of the Wysi Wipe (sample included in this mailing). MASS products can be purchased as a fundraising program at your centre - watch for details.
Stephen will walk you through your home and centre to identify the environmental health hazards for you and your children via amusing stories and anecdotes. Ask questions of the international expert and take lessons back to your childcare setting and home to easily implement healthy green solutions.
Stephen’s information will also be supported with handouts from the Canadian Partnership for Children’s Health and Environment (CPCHE) www.healthyenvironmentforkids.ca
