eNews: 2011 PCPC Staff Benefits Renewal 10% DECREASE!

[May 19, 2011]

The benefits program at your centre is an important part of your total compensation package for the staff. As a full member centre of PCPC you have access to a staff benefits program via Morneau Shepell. If you are not currently enrolled in this program please contact the PCPC office nancy@pcpcontario.org for details.

The PCPC staff benefits plan is insured through the Your Benefits Solved (YBS) volume-purchasing arrangement, formerly known as Morneau Syndicated Program (MSP). The program continues to provide PCPC members with preferred expense and risk margins.

In order to ensure that it continues to operate at the most effective level from both a cost and service perspective, Morneau Shepell recently concluded a survey of the insurance marketplace. As a result of this review, there will be changes to the PCPC benefits program and the associated Insurance carriers participating in the volume-purchasing arrangement.

All lines of benefits are scheduled to renew on May 1, 2011. As a result of the changes indicated above, Morneau Shepell Ltd. had negotiated a 10% decrease to your overall rates for the coming renewal period.
